Rev. Jamey D. Carter, Sr. is the eldest son to Rev. Tisa R. Shank.  He is the loving husband of Sis. Jacquelene A. Carter and adoring father to Christina Pearl Carter and Jamey Darnell Carter, Jr.  Rev. Carter was saved at the age of 13 and has been active in ministry since the age of 14. Throughout his teenage and young adult years he worked in various positions in the Local, State, and National Church of the Living God. These include and are not limited to the Usher, Missionary, Helps, Music, Evangelistic, Sunday School, Administrative, Outreach, Transportation, Drama, Youth and Media Departments. He participated in oratorical presentations as well as ministering nationally as a youth speaker as a member of both the Pennsylvania United and Florida Atlantic Dioceses. Under the leadership of Bishop Hopkins and the Late Bishop Dr. L. Delores Ward he has learned the values of Faithfulness, Holiness and diligent study of the Word. Rev. Carter is Founder and Pastor of Love House of God, Church of the Living God, Pillar and Ground of the Truth, Inc. holding its initial Worship Service on February 5th, 2017. He is a member of the National Church of the Living God Adjutancy Program. He has served as Adjutant in the General Assembly’s Bishop Ordination of 2015 and the National Homegoing Celebration and Funeral of the Late Bishop Dr. L. Delores Ward. His passion is serving God and serving God’s people. He believes that it is incumbent for every Christian to Love the Lord with all his heart, all his soul, all his mind, and all his strength and to love his neighbor as himself. He proclaims that he is saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. He believes in Christian unity and anticipates God doing exceeding abundantly, above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us.
